So this is my first time entering the land of blogging. For those of you who know me well, I am not a seasoned writer, so excuse me if I sound like I am in grade 4.
I am leaving for Arusha, Tanzania on Saturday, Feb 21. This will be my first time back since the fall of 2004. Time for me to brush up on my Swahili! This time I will be working at a hospital, not sure exactly what I will be doing yet though. The doctor I am working with just told me to show up whenever I feel like it on the first day (slight difference from back home in Canada!).
I will be staying with Mama Elly who is my Tanzanian Mama I stayed with the last time I was there. Mama Elly has been great about setting things up for my arrival! And my real mother hopefully will be at ease knowing I am very well cared for there!
