Today is going to be quick because I have things I want to do. For a quick update though- I worked with a general surgeon today who comes into the hospital for consults twice a week and it was very good. We saw some interesting pathology- like mycobacterium bovine of the hip. I helped him treat a patient with Rheumatoid Arthritis who was RF negative but he did not know that one could have RA without a positive RA so he had been treated as osteoarthritis. They have methotrexate here so I helped him with the prescription and he is going to have the patient do all the bloodwork. Its fabulous because now this patient who has suffered for years and has severe joint destruction may actually get a bit of relief and be able to walk more comfortably!
To Sarah Campbell- I am now going to have a chai masala at ViaVia... I know you're jealous.
I'll write a longer post later! I went to Mama's store yesterday - its called BabyFace Decorations! She sells all kinds of little toys, hair stuff, and jewellry. She gave me a bracelet as a present.
